This buffalo has become one of my favorite subjects to paint. I've explored him in various sizes—small, medium, and extra large—and across different mediums, including watercolor, oil, and pastel. This piece is particularly special as it's the first time I've incorporated earth pigment from Boulder into his eyes, creating a deeper connection to the place I call home.
