Feather # 184 — Peacock

“I chose a soft, natural palette for this piece, creating my own hand-made pigment, Rocky Mountain #5, to bring the whispering blues and deep, earthy greens to life. The gentle layering and delicate brushstrokes mirror the elegance of these peacock feathers, each stroke capturing their graceful dance. Through the subtle transitions and light splatters, I aimed to evoke a sense of calm and balance, reflecting the deep connection we all share with nature’s quiet, resilient beauty.”
