“In creating this piece, I chose to use the hand-made pigment Rocky Mountain #7 to bring out the soft browns and blues that define the feather's delicate yet striking presence. The way the colors transition from the deep indigo eye to the gentle amber edges is enhanced by my careful use of layering and fluid brushstrokes. Each line flows naturally, capturing grace and strength, while the subtle splatters and drips invite a sense of growth and discovery.”
