Feather # 48 — Red Shoulder Hawk

“I crafted this piece using the rich, earthy tones of my hand-made Moab Pigment #1, letting the gentle washes of soft gray transition into warm beige, capturing the delicate essence of a feather. My brushstrokes are light and flowing, allowing the gentle splatters and subtle drips to add a sense of movement and continuity. Through these delicate hues and textures, I wanted to inspire a sense of renewal—like taking a deep breath after a long day.”  — Shayna, March 2023
