Feather # 29 — Red-tailed Hawk

“In this piece, I chose earthy browns and soft grays to create a gentle, flowing transition from the deep tones at the base to the softer shades at the tip. I used delicate, feathered brushstrokes to blend the colors seamlessly, adding light splatters and drips to suggest an organic, natural movement. By layering the hues and allowing the shapes to emerge naturally, I invited a sense of warmth and tranquility, aiming to draw you into a quiet moment of reflection and appreciation for simplicity.”  — Shayna, December 2022
