“I used the hand-made pigment Rocky Mountain #6 to create a warm blend of earthy browns and soft blues that flow effortlessly across the canvas. The gentle transitions and delicate layering, highlighted by subtle splatters and drips, form a feather-like shape that seems to dance and float with ease. As I painted, I focused on conveying a sense of gentle embrace and the comforting feeling of being wrapped in a soft, protective cocoon.”
