Feather # 217 — Blue Jay

“In this piece, I used a gradient of colors transitioning from earthy browns at the top to vibrant blues and warm yellows towards the base, all gently blending into one another. My brushstrokes are soft yet defined, capturing the delicate essence of the feather, while the subtle splatters and a solitary blue dot add a whimsical touch. Through each layer, I aimed to create a feeling of calm and resilience, inviting viewers to find a sense of quiet assurance in its presence.”
