Feather # 86 — Red-tailed Hawk

“In this painting, I used soft browns and grays to create a feather that feels gentle and grounded. The watercolor transitions are smooth and delicate, lending a sense of lightness. With each brushstroke, I aimed for a natural flow, layering pigments lightly to let the feather appear both ethereal and substantial, while the subtle splatters add a hint of spontaneity. Through these techniques, I wanted to capture a feeling of warmth and reflect the instinctive harmony we often find in nature’s simple details.”
